The Goldman Sachs System

Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business Program helps entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunities by providing them with greater access to education, financial capital, and business support services.  This program, valued at $15,000 is being offered free to businesses in Southern Ohio via Cincinnati State, Columbus State, and Sinclair College.

To learn how you can apply for this program, please join us for an overview of how to apply.  Sessions, taught by college faculty on Fridays, include free breakfast and lunch, as well as providing access to a business adviser for the 14-week session.  Best of all you will join a network of 10,000 businesses across the country that have participated in the program.

Rea Waldon, Ph.D.

President / CEO

Rea N. Waldon, Ph.D.  -  Dr. Waldon has over 25 years of experience working with owners to help them grow their businesses.  Her background includes working as a commercial lender for several major financial institutions, a business advisor for a minority business development agency, and teaching business courses at the college level.  Dr. Waldon was directly involved in securing and hosting a Small Business Development Center and is the founder of WBEC-ORV, an organization responsible for providing certification and training to approximately 1,000 women business owners in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia.  Dr. Waldon currently owns and operates a business consulting firm that provides strategic guidance and training for small and medium-sized businesses.  Dr. Waldon has provided coaching and facilitation for the SBA’s Emerging Leaders Program, Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business Program, Vistage, and is a Certified Business Advisor and Certified in the Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile as well as Enneagram coaching and typing methodology. 

Dr. Waldon has degrees in accounting, management information systems, and interdisciplinary studies (public policy and urban economics).  In addition, she has training in retail bank administration, non-profit leadership, business valuations, and experiential classroom teaching strategies.  In her spare time, she likes to bead and is an extraordinary grandmother!
