The Power of Building Relationships
Everyone wants to know they matter. Theodore Roosevelt said, "People don't care what you know until they know that you care." In order to have an impact on your community, you must be able to build trust with others. This talk takes you on my journey of how I learned this lesson the hard way through the eyes of one of my students. 1. You have the power to change relationships. 2. You can't control others but you can control yourself. 3. The people on your team look to you for validation.
